We Belong Together
I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it: when we say "in community," we mean it.
This fall reminded us why. In just a few weeks we got to show up for our town in four very different ways.
The Solano Stroll. If you've never done it, imagine walking a mile of Solano Avenue and stopping every ten feet because you've run into someone you know: preschool parents from years ago, friends from the gym, soccer teammates, past clients (some now neighbors!). Our office is on Solano, so this one always feels a bit like a block party in our own front yard. We were proud to be sponsors again this year.
Women's tennis at the Berkeley Tennis Club. We sponsored a women's tournament at the Berkeley Tennis Club, and it was a blast. As a woman-owned company, supporting women's sports matters to us. And the fact that our soon-to-open new office is right across the street made it all the more exciting.
Breaking ground on Cedar. We got to celebrate the start of construction at 1745 Cedar, six new single-family homes by Panoramic Interests. There's something special about standing on an empty lot and picturing the families who will live there one day. District Homes is incredibly proud to be the chosen brokerage that will represent this project and play a small role in the creation of housing.
East Bay Sanctuary Covenant. We attended their fundraiser here in Berkeley, and we're proud to support them again this year after starting last year. For decades, EBSC has helped refugees and immigrants build safe, stable lives in the East Bay. In other words, they help people find home. That's a cause close to our hearts.
A street fair, a tennis court, a construction site and a fundraiser. On the surface they don't have much in common. But each one is about the same thing: belonging.
We belong together. And we are all in, Always

You’ve got questions and I can’t wait to answer them.
