"I have worked with Anna during the sale my home in North Berkeley and the purchase of a new (multi-unit) home in South Berkeley. Not only is Anna highly professional, but she is able to connect on an emotional level, developing an empathetic understanding for the needs of our family in the process of finding a home. Anna is honest, to the point, clever and creative. These qualities were essential in helping us navigate the extreme dynamics of one of the most competitive housing markets in history. Anna worked with us in our own unique process, exercising patience when needed and deliberately pushing us to stretch a little further when needed. In the end, we found our home on only the second offer we tried, which is remarkable in this market. Anna gets it. She knows what’s up. She is a delight to work with. I recommend Anna without hesitation for buying or selling your home."

"We cannot say enough about the exceptional service we received from Anna Bellomo. Anna came into a delicate situation which she handled masterfully - calmly and professionally. Throughout the challenging process, she was always available for questions and we felt truly listened to. While not imposing, Anna helped us make the best decisions with reassuring expert guidance. Knowing that we had a firm advocate made the negotiation process less stressful. Anna made it her mission to help us complete the sale of our property as soon as possible, and amazingly we were able to sell at full asking price and close escrow in five days. Anna Bellomo embodies the qualities of an excellent realtor. She has the expertise and level head that comes with many years of experience and the emotional sensitivity necessary to handle charged situations that involve transitions of home and money."

"We recently sold our home in Berkeley through Anna Bellomo of District Homes, and I can't say enough about what a great experience it was. "We recently sold our home in Berkeley through Anna Bellomo of District Homes, and I can't say enough about what a great experience it was. Anna took total charge of everything, and all we had to do was practice saying "Yes Ma'am. Yes Ma'am". She made decisions that I doubted at first, but, boy, does she know what she's doing. She lined up stagers for us to consider and fine-tuned their work. She hired the painter and had him paint a lot more than we thought was necessary. She lined up the landscaping as well. And the floor refinishing. All of this took place after we had left town; we didn't do anything. EXCEPT at the end we did have to sign the paperwork to accept the offer nearly 50% OVER ASKING! One tiny point my wife and I would like to add: As totally competent as Anna is she is also the nicest person we've ever done business with of any kind. Any buyer or seller would be lucky to secure Anna Bellomo's services."

"Five stars is not enough to express how amazing, professional and thorough Anna was in handling the recent sale last week [March 2021) of our Berkeley home which we owned as a rental for CAL professors and students for the past 12+ years. In preparation for our sale, I scheduled painters, stagers and handymen who needed access to our home along with some detailed instructions which Anna handled so expertly that my husband and I never had to travel during the pandemic up to Berkeley from Los Angeles where we actually live. I admit it took some convincing for my husband and I to agree to list our property for so much lower than we knew we would accept as a final sales price, but Anna assured us she knows how the market works in Berkeley and she asked us to trust her. We followed her pricing strategy and guidance based on her many years of realtor experience. WOW is all I can say in terms of the final purchase price with multiple offers that met and exceeded our expectations within only 10 days of listing our property. Anna is without question, one of most experienced and impressive realtors we have worked with over the years. She has a keen eye to absolutely every detail - so keen in fact, that we never actually met Anna in person! Everything was done via Zoom and/or countless emails and phone calls. Anna is absolutely a gem and deserves 10 stars if that were possible."

The end result was a house that sold within a week with 10 offers over asking and a final sale nearly 2X the original asking price. She managed updates to the house and yard, took care of staging, handled inspections and was even prepared to find a proper home for my collection of National Geographics had I not passed them on to a neighbor. Efficient, charming, to the point, I knew precisely where I stood in the process and she hit the dates she set out when we originally discussed putting the house on the market. Her knowledge, focus, business instincts, tough-minded negotiation skills, and authentic warmth made this entire process a pleasure. Her taste is impeccable; she oversaw a stellar staging of my large and complex home and garden, and timed the listing perfectly. We had offers immediately and it sold in a week for 70% over asking. Anna was on top of everything at every moment, as I packed up this enormous (well over 3000 sq ft) home I'd lived in for close to 40 years. You can't do better, and I'm grateful."

Anna helped us sell our Berkeley home in 2020 during the pandemic, navigating virtual walk-throughs, a fast-changing housing dynamic, and a super tight-turnaround. A couple of things really stand out about Anna: (1) impeccable knowledge of both the real estate and local markets (2) authentic desire to understand her client's goals and work tirelessly to meet them (3) going above & beyond what is typically expected, for an overall incredible experience. Anna project-managed the sell so thoroughly (surpassing our selling goal and timeline)--all while exuding confidence, positivity, and creativity every step of the way. She even helped us coordinate with movers while we were out-of-state--one of the many reasons Anna is a true gem. We couldn't recommend her more!"

For instance, she will tell you if she doesn't think a particular house is for you and give you the well thought out reasons. She is incredibly knowledgeable about East Bay neighborhoods and houses, she knows how other brokers operate, and she knows the market dynamics. All of that means that she really knows how to win -- It was her advice on a specific topic that may have helped seal the deal for our bid. "Anna is a joy to work with - a good communicator, highly responsive and well connected both with other leading agents and the contractors and suppliers needed to prepare a house for sale in Berkeley. Considering how stressful selling a home of 20+ years can be, our #1 priority in selecting who to work with was how well are we going to be able to work well with this agent. We interviewed several top agents and selected Anna. Every step in the process reinforced our decision that we'd made the right choice. Always cheerful, warm and professional; Anna also has a splendid sense of humor. In the end, it's about results and the fact that those results were better than expected merely confirmed our choice. We received multiple offers over asking including some that were above even our high-end assumptions and we closed in two weeks from signed agreement to funds disbursed. When high expectations meet superior results, what's not to like?"

"Anna is an amazing real estate agent -- we recommend her without reservation. When the time came to sell our mom's home in Berkeley, Anna came highly recommended by a friend with extensive real estate dealings, and we checked her out on Yelp, where all her reviews are 5 stars. It was soon apparent why all the rave reviews -- she's super responsive, knows the market extremely well, has at her beck and call a solid network of all the key people you need to sell a home: landscapers, handymen, painters, stagers etc etc etc. Plus she was able to pleasantly guide us through the emotional ups and downs of selling a family home, helping us come to the best decisions -- the resulting sale was exactly what we hoped for. Anna also makes for a great buyer's agent -- her knowledge plus the good relationships she has other agents is a real asset to a buyer -- plus she has that friendly yet feisty energy that is necessary to be successful in this very difficult market for buyers. If you are in the market to buy or sell a property in Berkeley or surrounding communities, you owe it to yourself to talk to Anna before deciding on an agent to represent you."

She was honest in her assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of our home and gave us clear options for the amount of work we could choose to do in preparing the house for sale. We had some delayed maintenance projects that needed immediate attention and other areas such as bath and kitchen remodeling that required decisions about how much work to do. She lined up contractors for bids and helped us through the decisions. She chose Mary Cronin of The Design Shop to manage the project. Once decisions on scope had been made and architectural plans drawn (we removed a wall between kitchen and dining room), we were able to relax and let Anna and Mary handle all the design decisions and details. The results were phenomenal! When the transformation was complete our home was beautifully modern while staying true to its mid-century roots and keeping some of the original architectural details that we loved. Anna was always accessible and despite her many clients somehow made us feel that we were the only ones. Her good relations with other realtors and her knowledge of the market helped make the final marketing and negotiating a breeze. Anna is warm, genuine, detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. As many of the reviews here say, five stars is not enough. She will spoil you for any other realtor."

"I shopped carefully for an agent, and Anna was clearly the best choice.

"Like a fairy godmother, Anna made magic happen. Truly, we are so fortunate to have worked with her in selling our North Berkeley home. Anna knows the area like a pro, and has the connections and finesse to get things done - quickly! Her eye toward design helped us quickly decide how to present our house - what should go where to make it sing. We worked on a tight timeline to sell our house, involving an overseas move that required things to move quickly. Anna worked within all of our parameters, making us feel genuinely involved and appreciated as we moved through the motions, and continuously guiding us to make the best decisions to optimize our house's value. We couldn't have been more impressed with the results: four weeks after our first meeting with Anna, we received an offer at more than 50 percent over asking. We are incredibly grateful to Anna and highly recommend her. She is the diamond standard and what real estate professionals should strive to be."

There were a number of challenges with this sale; namely that we live 2 hours from the property and we were constrained by a tight budget. Anna went above and beyond any preconceived notion of what a selling agent can do in that situation. I also want to mention that I'm a picky/cranky old man. I told her that up front. It didn't matter. She handled everything like a pro. Here is the most impressive thing - She was on our side from the beginning and she cares. A lot of agents fake this part. Not Anna. She was emotionally invested in this project from the beginning. It became quickly obvious that she was going to work hard for us and be completely candid with her opinion of what would and would not work. I was tough. I researched everything she told us. I was looking for reasons not to trust her. That was unnecessary and a complete waste of time on my part. It is impossible to heap enough accolades on this woman. She is competent, professional, honest, kind, caring, hard-working, driven, and above all, she has a level of integrity that I've never experienced before. I want to publicly thank her right here for what she did for myself and my family. You're the best Anna and you have set the standard for what a selling agent should be. God Bless you ma'am! Please; if you are considering using Anna and you need a personal recommendation or have any questions, feel free to message me and I will be more than happy to answer them all"

"Anna is simply amazing! We first met her when visiting real estate agents a few months before moving to Berkeley. One of her colleagues instantly suggested we talk with Anna. Although we had lived in challenging real estate markets before, including New York and London, nothing had prepared us for buying a house in Berkeley, where dozens of people might be making competing offers. Anna guided us through the process, from looking at houses to closing the deal. Since then she has launched her own agency, and very quickly it's become a top performer. The next time we buy and sell, we'll definitely go with Anna and her team."

"Anna got us our dream home! It was a very desirable house in a very desirable neighborhood, and we were competing against 11 other offers. Thanks to Anna's advice, our offer was the winning bid, topping the next one by only a slight margin. When you consider that this was only the second offer we were making on a house, you can see why you should go with Anna for your house search. From our very first conversation, we immediately knew Anna was the realtor we wanted to work with. She has extensive knowledge of the East Bay housing market, boundless energy and solid relationships in the real estate market. This really makes all the difference in such a competitive market. Throughout the process, she was very invested, from taking the time to explain exactly how everything worked (we were first-time buyers), to suggesting homes she had seen, commenting on the ones we were interested in and steering us away when we started going down the wrong path into potentially problematic areas. We had no doubt she had our best interest at heart: she wanted us to get our dream home at the lowest price. Even now that the sale has closed, we know she is there to give us advice if we need it. We feel that she is not just our realtor, but also a friend and we could not recommend her more highly."

"Anna, is an amazing real estate professional and an incredible person with whom we were lucky enough to have had the privilege to work with. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to sell or buy a house in the Berkeley or surrounding communities. When we decided to move out of state we started looking online for an agent to sell our home and read how Anna had handled everything from the painters, carpet installers, handyman, stagers, and cleaners to prepare houses. We felt that this was too good to be true, but it wasn't. Anna has an incredible network of people who prepared our home for the market. Anna has a great awareness of what is happening in the housing market and had spot on suggestions for improvements, adding touches that accented features of our home that were highly sought out in the market. She has a great eye for detail and put a lot of herself into preparing our home. Everything she did was handled with such love and care. Our house looked so good we almost changed our minds about moving. Anna gave us great, frank advice, and really knows the microclimate of the markets throughout the Berkeley area. She was able to guide us through the emotional ups and downs of selling our home of 22 years and found a buyer who will love our home as much as we did. We never could have done it without Anna, she is truly phenomenal!"

"Anna is the best of the best. I can't remember how we originally connected (Yelp reviews maybe?), but we felt she would be a good fit for us early on. We had an initial meeting where she really listened to what we wanted. Anna never faltered in her support to us as we looked...and looked...and looked for houses in Berkeley. It took, start to finish, nearly a year. She was always, always, always available to show us a house, to talk about pros and cons, and to talk offer strategy. Even when we hemmed and hawed, she respectfully supported us and waited. We needed time and space to figure each house out--both with her and alone, and she always provided that. I really appreciated how Anna taught us to look beyond "the cute factor" and to see places with potential. Homes that weren't necessarily what immediately jumped out to us but that were in our price range and weren't the hottest thing on the market that week. Together we determined what we could live with (and without), and what we couldn't. She certainly expanded our horizons this way, and is probably one of the reasons we got a great house in the end. She always had our best interest at heart, and was never pushy or annoyed when we'd pass on homes. She wanted to understand our reasoning and rationale so it could help shape the next offer. I found myself apologizing when we had gone to see a house one or two times and ultimately decided not to make an offer. But she was continually gracious and kind. That is one of the reasons I most highly recommend her! Anna knows the East Bay super well. She's got her finger on the pulse, especially in Berkeley, where she knows micro neighborhoods. Also, she's well respected by other agents. People would always say "Anna? Oh, I love her!" As we put in offers (and when one was finally accepted), she was great at connecting us to resources (like a structural engineer, lawyer, contractors, etc). She seems to know everyone in Berkeley. Bravisimo to Anna for being an incredible agent -- she is much more than that! A friend, a confidant, a challenger, and a connector."

I was looking for reasons not to trust her. That was unnecessary and a complete waste of time on my part. It is impossible to heap enough accolades on this woman. She is competent, professional, honest, kind, caring, hard-working, driven, and above all, she has a level of integrity that I’ve never experienced before. I want to publicly thank her right here for what she did for myself and my family. You’re the best Anna and you have set the standard for what a selling agent should be. God Bless you ma’am!"

But the process was far smoother than I ever thought it would be, thanks to Anna's clear guidance, fabulous connections, and amazing instincts. She took care of the small things (throws, pillows to match our furniture, fixing the light I messed up the night before the house photos were taken) and the big things (talking me through the inspections, encouraging me to be patient when an offer she was not that excited in came in) and I was delighted that my house sold quickly and with no hiccups. thank you Anna!"

Over our six months search, right when the market had started to be as crazy as before the crisis, it was thanks to her perseverance, professionalism and amazing communication skills that I got a very sweet deal without completely draining my resources. Anna is incredibly available at any time, over any communication channel, which makes you understand how dedicated she is to support you (and bear in mind that she also has a family!). Last but not least it was a very fun experience dealing with her as she fluently speaks Italian and Spanish, sharing both Mediterranean mindset and humor."

While other realtors post a listing on MLS and hold an open house or two, Anna is an active partner who shepherds you through the entire process. Not only does she work hard to present the house in the best light, but she also works tirelessly to find a qualified buyer. She is calm, patient, accessible, knowledgeable and helpful. She held five open houses within two weeks and we got two offers over asking right away. We can't sing her praises enough."

Anna is tireless, focused, and determined, and also manages to stay positive and upbeat during an incredibly stressful process. She knows EVERYONE in the East Bay real estate business, which is a huge asset in this market. From the other listing agents to the appraisers to the inspectors, she knows everyone, and they know, like, and respect her. I think her personal connections were what helped us get the 4th house we bid on, as the seller's agent knew that she would be professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Thank you, Anna, for getting us into the East Bay market!"

While we were trying to figure out how to upgrade our housing situation, she helped us evaluate the options without putting any pressure on us. "If you are looking for a real estate agent to sell your property, look no further. We found a gem in Anna Bellomo! My wife and I interviewed several real estate agents before hiring Anna to list our condo for sale. We are owners of property in Berkeley however we do not live in the area. No problem - Anna took care of everything. She facilitated painters, carpet installation, staging, photography, home inspections, and all the essentials for selling a property. She has wonderful contacts for the trades in the area. You can trust Anna Bellomo to do what she says she is going to do. She exceeded all my expectations of a real estate agent. If she said she would get back to me in 2 hours, she got back to me within 2 hours. If she said she would get back to me by tomorrow, she got back to me by tomorrow (if not sooner). Not only is she knowledgeable of the East Bay real estate market, but also she has amazing professional skills to close a deal. She made suggestions that added to the charm of the condo. When we hired Anna she had a strategy to sell the condo. She told us that it would "sell in 11 days". I was a bit skeptical, but she was right (almost). The condo sold in 10 days from the time it was listed to the acceptance of the offer. Having multiple offers, she was able to negotiate the highest offer with the best value for us (the sellers). I found Anna through Yelp reviews, which I hadn't used in the past. The reviews about Anna are all clearly accurate. I have recommended her to another friend who will be selling their property later this year. I would hire her again for any property I have to sell in the Bay Area or would want to buy in the Bay Area. I'm sorry that Yelp only offers 5 stars because she deserves 10 stars."

"We cannot recommend Anna enough! She's very friendly, flexible, hard-working, knowledgeable and very much has your interest at heart. And the best thing is: She doesn't end with getting done what needs to get done. She always went out of her way to help us. Our search involved several months, spanning several parts of the Bay Area. In East Bay, we worked with Anna and she was excellent. We met with her first in her office where we explained what we were looking for - a comfortable but smallish place in a safe neighborhood and convenient commute to the city above all other factors. Anna is easy to work with, prompt, organized, efficient and helpful. We'd go to open houses and if we found something she might advise us and come to see it with us too, but she largely stayed out of the process of finding us a place to bid on, because really, that stuff is on Trulia/Redfin these days and not where an agent helps you. Rather, once we found something we liked, she step into high gear about how to make a good offer (and that did not usually involve any advice to bid high). In fact, when we were really busy, and struggling to make it to an open house, she'd be able to tell us, based on what we'd said to her that a place was not worth seeing, either because of the price, or because it needs too much work etc. Our search took an unexpected turn when we found a well-cared-for house that seemed special and a great value but well out of our budget and maybe out of our reach too. Anna's experience with working at various price levels and very different types of houses came really in handy. She helped us put together an offer that we're comfortable with, without overpaying and still very competitive on an in-demand house. She was instrumental in getting our offer accepted. We have worked with other real estate agents too and the difference with Anna is ... like night and day! Even after the offer was accepted, the difference of Anna was very clear. Some agents stop really paying attention after the bid is accepted (their fee is locked in), but Anna was even more engaged at that point, making sure that all the steps of escrow, loan, appraisal went smoothly, putting in more effort into it than we expected. She was happy to accompany us to visit the house after we were in contract so we can measure stuff for planning furniture etc - and even encouraged us to make that visit. Even after close, she offered to help us with things. Anna is well-connected to plumbers, electricians, roofers, engineers and all manner of other professionals needed for inspections, estimates and such which are a critical part of writing an offer as well as mentally being aware of exactly what you are getting into. And when we needed someone to clean the house before we moved in - she recommended us a good cleaning crew. A good real estate educates her/his clients with market color, city regulations and ordinances and other considerations that are relevant to the needs of the buyer. And she was excellent with that. And what is more: she was very keen on making sure that the home-buying process was an enjoyable, not a painful experience - always making sure to tell us when we need to react quickly and when we can relax. She has a good relationships with many local agents and would contact that agent with questions we had. Through this process I really learned what a good real estate agent can bring to the table. The process would have been very different without Anna's help! She has earned our trust and has delivered!"

"I have been working with Anna for several months now and I can say confidently that she is the best sales person and agent I have had the pleasure of working with. Anna genuinely tries to understand what you are looking for in a home and provides thorough insight for each property that you discuss with her. She also does an amazing job trying to keep your best interest in mind as opposed to simply making a sale. For instance, my brother and I are both looking to buy in either SF or East Bay. So far we have been looking at homes separately, but recently my brother suggested that we look at this giant, beautiful, and completely redone duplex (mini-mansion?) along Lake Merritt. However, after speaking with Anna, it was clear that this home did not make sense for me: It would likely be difficult to find a future buyer for such a home in that neighborhood and on a per person level, I could buy my own single family home in a better neighborhood. It is this type of insight and customer-focused advice that I value from Anna. Anna is the right agent for customers that value working with a trusted advisor who provides timely and critical feedback. Although I have not found a home yet, I am excited to continue working with Anna throughout this process and I am thrilled to recommend her to others."

"Anna has a rare and precious combination of outstanding people skills, and an excellent commercial and strategic mind! I can't recommend her highly enough. During our house hunt she was unflaggingly dedicated and upbeat; thinking creatively about our needs, suggesting options we might not have considered and providing honest and expert advice at all points in our search. She clearly cares deeply about her clients, wants them to be happy with their choice, and never loses sight of the fact that a house purchase is probably the most important financial investment most people make. What is so special about Anna is that this personal commitment is combined with an intense attention to detail, an ability to identify, prioritize and solve potential problems efficiently, and a highly attuned commercial sense. I have a background in investment banking and plenty of experience negotiating and executing financial transactions, and I deeply appreciated Anna's professionalism, integrity, and creativity when it came to closing our house purchase. She helped us present a package combining a competitive offer with some personal touches that made the difference between having our offer accepted and the seller asking for second round bids. She then closed our deal as fast as humanly possible, because we were under pressure to move. We could not have been happier to have her on our side!"

For instance, she will tell you if she doesn't think a particular house is for you and give you the well thought out reasons. She is incredibly knowledgeable about East Bay neighborhoods and houses, she knows how other brokers operate, and she knows the market dynamics. "Anna is awesome! My husband and I have sold/purchased 3 homes in the Bay Area over the past decade. We've dealt with our share of realtors. Anna is *by far* the best we have ever worked with. I can't say enough good things about her. We needed to sell our house. We have 4 kids and had outgrown our very cute but very small North Berkeley bungalow. We had this semi-crazy idea about moving out to the country and getting some land for the kids to run around on, Little House On the Prairie-style. It seemed far-fetched, even to us, but Anna was instrumental in making our dream a reality. I sit here in our humongous great room that looks out onto the acre of land we bought in Sebastopol. The Gravensteins are ready now and with 5 trees on our property, we'll have apples for months. Our kids pick blackberries from the bushes that grow wild at the edge of our land, climb trees, and head to the chicken coop each morning to check for eggs. It's wonderful, and again, we couldn't have done it without Anna. She got us an amazing price on our house in Berkeley! Also, through a stroke of luck we actually received the offer before we even officially put the house on the market. Later on in the process, when our home inspection revealed a few pieces of minor bad news, Anna did a great job of protecting us and negotiating a price we were still thrilled with. Through it all, we felt completely taken care of by Anna, and that she really had our back, unreservedly. In fact, I wish we could have used her for our home purchase in Sebastopol. The difference between Anna and the guy we used out here was huge, and made us all the more grateful that we had at least one realtor we knew was on our side and was looking out for our best interests. As others have stated, Anna is very real (a rarity in the world of realty, we've found). She is honest and she really listens. And she really knows what she's doing! We sold our home in Berkeley for a price that was literally $100K higher than another realtor we interviewed had quoted us. Again, we could not have been happier with Anna. In the overcrowded world of Bay Area real estate agents, she stands heads and shoulders above the rest. We recommend her highly!"

"Don't hesitate - work with Anna! I have worked with other realtors before, but with Anna I felt I'm in the hands of an expert, which really allowed this process to involve as little anxiety as possible. Anna is warm, and has great personal relationship skills, with her costumers as well as with other realtors and professionals (inspection people, engineers, etc'), which is so nice. She made herself available to us at any hour of day, and if she couldn't respond immediately, she always texted back and then called back soon after. But her real quality comes out when her opinion was requested. When you buy a new home, there are so many questions involved, so many decisions to make, that you get confused and tired so fast. It was a big move for us, as my husband and I had both lived in San Francisco for 15 years. Since Anna is a Berkeley resident and has young children, she was especially prepared to guide us on the right neighborhoods to consider. Personally, I've found real estate agents to be a little strange and off-putting. Anna is just the most lovely, smart and patiently aggressive person I've met working in this field. I think one of her strengths comes from the fact that she's worked in other fields prior to being in real estate, so she has the kind of worldy life-skills that enhance her approach to this business. Bottom line: Looking for an awesome real estate agent who you're actually excited to hang out with and share one of life's stressful pursuits? Call Anna!"

Anna was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, followed all protocols, and brought humor to the experience. It was decided to sell on a short timeframe and Anna managed everything to take the house to market--the painter, stager, cleaning, gardening, compliance certificate, etc.-all while holding our hands through the process. "Anna was the agent for the sale of a family trust property in Berkeley. As the seller, I wanted to find someone who was a local agent. Since Berkeley has a variety of different neighborhoods, my expectation was that someone with a nearby office, would probably be best suited to handling the sale. At the same time, I also wanted a agent with the go-getter attitude of an agent from a big market, that could get the property on the market as soon as possible. Due to having to wait until our rental tenants had left the property, there was not the chance of getting on the market during the prime time mid-summer selling season. To get to market quickly before much of fall would pass by, required removing shelves of junk, getting the contractors on the job, repairing the wear and tear of 40 years of renting to students, getting the different inspections handled, finding staging that would be available in short order, and then preparing the marketing materials as soon as possible. Anna was recommended to me as a local agent who would fit the bill. Having previously overseen the renovation of a different property, I was prepared for some delays and problems to overcome. Everything moved along swiftly and smoothly with the Berkeley house. The final product did not seem like a house that looked 91 years old, but in a number of ways, I expect that it looked better than it did, when the place was brand new. The only thing that gave me pause for a moment, was the marketing photos. They were so well exposed, they seemed to actually look somewhat better on my computer screen, than the house did in real life. But if that got an extra number of potential buyers through the door to see the property, that's a good problem to have. Another aspect I appreciated about working with Anna was her attention to detail. In addition to getting the big parts of the job done right, little details that could also improve the sale did not escape her notice, and were put to good use. As just one little example, was her reuse of a bit of text for the advertising copy. I had just shown this text to her, as a little bit of a trivia from long ago, because it was written by my mother, herself a real estate agent for decades. The phrase from my mother's old ad copy, still applied to the house. So a little bit of text from a hardcopy rental advertisement of the 1980's, reappeared as text on the world wide web ad of the 21'st century. The results of putting the house on the market was that we received multiple offers, accepted an all cash offer, and completed what was maybe a record setting fast escrow close. In sum, my experience with Anna is that I can not imagine anyone could have done a better job."

At the time, listening to people talk about how difficult it is to buy and sell a home, I thought they were exaggerating, because it was so easy and seamless (and effortless!) for us. But now we're buying a home in New York City, and we've realized there was only one reason it was so easy that first time: Anna. Everyone should be so lucky as to have an agent like Anna -- she is confident, she always has your interests at heart, she is efficient, and she deals with everything in such a professional way that it makes buying and selling homes a pleasure. Run, don't walk, to hire Anna as your agent."

"We highly recommend working with Anna! Anna helped us buy our home in the Berkeley Hills, and thanks to her the purchase went smoothly and was as efficient as possible. She was accessible and always available during the process. She was also candid -- forthcoming with the information we didn't want to hear, and not just highlighting the good things about possible homes. It was important to us that we receive honest and informative advice from our real estate agent as a trusted advisor, and Anna delivered. This was our first home purchase in the Bay Area, and Anna was patient and helpful in helping us reorient to this unique market. We are so grateful to have worked with Anna!"

"Anna is as good as it gets.. She helped us navigate our way through all the preparatory work getting our house ready to sell, took care of the inevitable issues that arose, marketed the house beautifully and ultimately helped us find a wonderful buyer. We moved out of town before the house went on the market, and Anna was in constant contact with us, consulting with inspectors and an entire team whose only purpose, it seemed to us, was showcasing our home's unique beauty. When a large branch crashed down on the street just before an open house, we found out about it from a neighbor and called Anna in a panic. "I got this," she calmly said. And she did. The branch was gone that day. Maybe the thing we loved most about Anna was how much she also loved our house. It had been our home for many years, and it truly meant something to us that she saw what we saw in it and did a fantastic job conveying that to others. Selling a home is stressful, we knew. We needn't have worried. Anna guided the whole process, calmed us when we were stressed, and was a vigilant advocate for us all along the way. We couldn't have found a better agent!"

My favorite part of working with her, was that she allowed me to be hands off because it was an emotional journey for me getting our sweet house ready for someone else to enjoy. She chose the carpet, light fixtures, paint etc and everything, including the staging was beautiful. It was as low stress as possible and she took care of all of the behind the scenes problems without complaints. I am going to have to highly recommend her because she couldn't have possible done a better job. Thank you, Anna! Keep doing your magic!"

"Anna Bellomo is an outstanding realtor, and our recommendation of her work, is woefully overdue. My brother and I decided to sell our parent's house, and our childhood home, in late 2017. We began our search for a realtor sorting through over 20 realtor postcards and letters, but after several interviews, we knew we hadn't found our realtor. Our search continued online, and in February, 2018, we knew we found our realtor on the day we met Anna and walked with her through our parent's home. How did we know? Anna's reputation preceded her: online reviews exceeded top notch as were many others' comments: knowledgeable, dependable, and hard worker. She is highly regarded by her peers in the realty business. The day we met, Anna stood out from the others because of her professionalism and her ability to transmit her humility, humanity and respect for cultural diversity with warmth. Anna's communication is clear, direct, and kind. While she was managing multiple listings, she was highly responsive to our calls, and an exceptional forward thinker, anticipating our needs. My brother lived 50 miles away, and I live out of state. In the next two months, Anna deftly coordinated the vendors who prepared our home for listing. We worked closely with Anna by phone, text, and email, and always had input into important details, such as the listing price. Our parent's home was listed for two weeks in April, 2018, with 2 open houses: all while I was out of the country on cruise vacation. Anna and her associate's expertise and customer service made the process seem so easy. We closed in less than a month and at a substantially higher selling price over listing. Our experience working with Anna was exceptional, and we are both grateful to have found her, and to have the opportunity to sell our parent's home to a family who we hope will find happiness and contentment in the home that we had, growing up. Thanks again so much, Anna!"
