2024 has been a great year for District Homes - and for me personally.
We started the year at our old office on Solano Avenue and in March we moved to our incredible new office at 1758 Solano Ave. Two conference rooms, plenty of desk space, a lovely sitting room, not to mention our little library and our handmade ceramics collection. The office faces the street (you can see our signage from afar!), and I take great pride in the fact that we are actually working together from the office, which is always the best way for agents to learn.
This year we also hit a huge milestone, and ended up selling over $1.2 billion dollars in real estate, over 1,000 homes sold. And yes, that's a billion with a B…
Personally, I ended up the year being the number one agent (by volume) in my own zip code, 94707 - This is where I work and live, so imagine my joy!
6 new agents joined District Homes, not through recruiting efforts but organically. We are a great group of people, and amazing agents get drawn to our culture and our ethos.
We were also named as the number 20 most productive company of our size in ALL of California by RealTrends.
On a personal level, my oldest daughter, who has attended public school in Berkeley since Kindergarten, started college at another public school, UCLA. My youngest is still at Berkeley High, my husband continues to be a professor at Cal.
I also had the great privilege of joining the Board of Trustees of the Berkeley Repertory Theater (https://www.berkeleyrep.org/), and in 2025 I will be co-chairing their largest fundraiser of the year in SF. I love being able to contribute to the arts in my community (and District Homes will be sponsoring the gala, as we did last year).
All in all, a great year on so many fronts.
I look forward to helping you or anyone you know with their real estate needs, or just with some advice as they prepare to enter different stages of their lives - and I always love hearing from you!
Happy holidays and a prosperous and healthy 2025!
