A grand opening. With thought.

A grand opening. With thought.

Last week, we hosted the official opening of our new office at 1758 Solano Ave. We moved two months ago from our lovely office, also on Solano Ave, to a wonderful space that can now accommodate our growing team.

Everyone was invited! It was truly great to see what an amazing community we have and it meant a lot to us to be able to share our excitement with our friends and colleagues.

Just like everything else we do at District Homes, our office has been designed with a lot of thought. There are no corporate decisions behind our furniture, or a specific "franchise" look to the design. We put a lot of thought into all of it, from the art to the plants. Everything here represents who we are, our love for our community and our ethos: an uncommon level of commitment to your best outcome, and an insatiable dedication to getting it right.

Below are some of the companies that make our office so special.

The large District Homes sign hanging inside was designed by Local Language, an Oakland based creative studio that creates custom artwork and the cool neon exterior sign was created by Shawna P. of Peterson Neon, a local artist.

The plants in our office are beautiful because of Dom, from Pamana Plantas, right down the street, who also helps us keep them thriving. Our conference room table is from SOBU, a designer wife and husband owned furniture store, also based in Oakland.

For the party, we were lucky to have three women-owned businesses show up: Cristy Nelson of DJ Cristy Bubbles kept us on our toes with her music. Rachel Berinsky of Ess! kept us fed with her incredible catering. And Kristie Tacey of Tessier Winery kept everyone hydrated with her award-winning wine.

Come say hello to us anytime, we would love to show you our new digs and answer any questions you may have about real estate!
