After a King Pool swim, Cafe Roma coffee and Monterey Market shopping, stroll home to 1517 Holly Street, a 2 bedroom/1 bath home, with 1BR ADU built in 2017. Open the gorgeous 1920s door into a living room with bay windows, original woodwork, gleaming hardwood floors and tiled fireplace. Past the gracious dining room, you will find a light-filled kitchen with a breakfast area and French doors that open directly to the back deck. Two spacious bedrooms bookend a bathroom with wainscotting, period light fixtures and hexagonal tile. The back bedroom is large enough for a king-sized bed. A basement laundry room with interior/exterior access can also be an office or workshop. A forest of Japanese maples and lavender separates peaceful private outdoor spaces for both main house and ADU. Park your car in the driveway and leave it there. This is a home and a neighborhood that you will never want to leave.
